Is It Hotter Out There?
Dr. Richard Hilderman presents his second in a series of five lectures about the environment. In this program, Dr. Hilderman will address the impact that climate change is having on our oceans. As the oceans absorb carbon dioxide released by burning fossil fuels, they are gradually becoming more hostile to many forms of marine life. Dr. Hilderman will discuss the effects of climate change on ocean acidification, sea level rise, droughts, and increases in viral diseases.
