DESCRIPTION:Join the North Carolina Coastal Federation and our host Waterman's Brewing Company for our 2024 oyster roast\, A Roast for the Coast! Join us and gather with friends of the Federation to enjoy steamed local North Carolina oysters as well as clam chowder\, corn chowder\, and tastings of raw locally farmed oysters.\n\n\nIn between sessions at the oyster shucking table\, enjoy live music and a raffle of great local coastal items. One drink is included with your ticket (wine or beer) and additional drinks are available for purchase.\nAll of the proceeds from this event will support the Federation's local efforts to restore our native oysters\, including building new reefs in the lower Cape Fear River.\n\nThis event will take place rain or shine\, so please dress for the weather! Be sure to stay tuned for updates on the selection of fresh\, farmed oysters as well as new items in the silent auction! Space is limited- so don't wait and get your tickets today!
