DESCRIPTION:Calabash Community Christmas Tree Lighting and Golf Cart Parade December 6th Calabash is kicking off the holiday season with its 18th annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Golf Cart Parade\, December 6th at 6:00 p.m. at Callahan's Nautical Gifts. This year's event will feature great entertainment including dancing\, singing and caroling and a candlelight service. Santa will be making his annual trip from the North Pole with the help of the Calabash Fire Department to meet with the boy and girls. Free refreshments will be provided including hot chocolate\, cookies and goodies for the children. The event is hosting a food drive\, "5 cans for 5 kids" to help relieve hunger in our area as well as collecting books\, toys and clothing. Contact Kelley at the Calabash Town Hall at 579-6747 to sign up for the parade.
