DESCRIPTION:Wanted to send out a reminder that our next Certified Career Pathways meeting will be this Thursday 3/1/18 at the Brunswick Community College Leland Campus from 11:00am-1:00pm in rooms 208/209. If you haven't done so yet\, please RSVP me that you are attending and what sub committees you would like to be a part of. Please choose 2 from the following:\n\nCareer Awareness and Work Based Learning-Work together to determine the types of work based learning (internships)\, correct placement\, and activities for participants in middle school\, high school\, college\, adult job seekers\, and veterans.  \n\nEmployer Engagement\, Partner Identification\, and Collaboration-Recruit and engage the business community to lead in the development and implementation of the pathway. Includes curriculum input\, job placement\, work based learning\, tours\, shadowing\, and other opportunities for pathway participants \n\nArticulation and Coordination-Provide opportunities for students to obtain knowledge\, skills\, and certifications in the pathway efficiently.
