DESCRIPTION:Save the date.... more information to follow on how to support\, sponsor\, or play in a golf tournament benefiting the University of North Carolina's TEAACH Autism program.  \n\n\n\nTEACCH services are supported by empirical research\, enriched by extensive clinical expertise\, and notable for its flexible and individualized support of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. It affects one in 110 children in the U.S.\; one in 70 boys.  A university-based system of community regional centers that offers a set of core services along with unique demonstrations programs meeting the clinical\, training\, and research needs of individuals with ASD\, their families\, and professionals across the state of North Carolina\, which includes Brunswick County.  TEACCH\, founded by Dr. Eric Schopler in 1972\, is a model for other programs around the world.\n\n\n\nI know how devastating the diagnosis of autism can be\, my grandsons Harry and Henry\, are on the spectrum.  Autism hits families hard and I'll be fighting for the rest of my life to try and help others in the same situation.  I hope you'll share an interest and join me in this fight.
