On August 20th\, 2019\, Brunswick County Schools in collaboration with the Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for The Center of Applied Sciences and Technology\, known as The COAST.  The COAST is Brunswick County Schools new hub for Career and Technical Education courses for high school students with unique classes focused on STEM\, or Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Mathematics. \n\n \n\nCourses offered at The COAST range from Clean Energy and Cyber Security to Carpentry and Electrical trades where students learn job-securing skills that prepare them to enter the global workforce after graduation.  \n\n \n\nYou're invited to join us as we mark a new era in Brunswick County Schools and Career and Technical Education.  Please join us August 20th\, 2019 at 1109 Old Ocean Highway in Bolivia\, formerly Brunswick County Academy\, for a special ceremony at The COAST as we prepare for the 2019-2020 school year.
