DESCRIPTION:Join us for a ribbon cutting celebrating the new renovations at Waccamaw School.\n\n\n\nRibbon will be cut at 3:15pm\n\n \n\nWaccamaw Gym and Assembly Facility\n\n \n\nStudents and staff at Waccamaw School will enjoy the benefits of a beautiful new gymnasium and assembly facility when school opens later this month.  The new addition is the centerpiece of the school and will also be enjoyed by the community.  In addition to hosting athletic events the building will also allow for performing arts concerts and productions.  A portion of the estimated annual $900\,000 allocation the school system receives directly from the North Carolina Education Lottery is being used to pay for this new addition.
