SUMMARY:Summer Arts Camps Series- Literary Arst Camp
DESCRIPTION:The Brunswick Arts Council\, in conjunction with several arts groups in Brunswick County\, has announced that they will conduct a series of Art Camps this summer. Four Summer Art Camps will be offered from June 20 through June 23\, 2012. The camps will allow middle school students to work with local professional artists to create an art project in three days that will be shown to parents and friends on the fourth day\, a Saturday. A fifth Summer Art Camp will be offered from June 28 through July 1\, 2012.\n\n \nThe Camps will be held at five separate locations so that students will have a short distance to travel to attend a Camp. The cost to the student is $15 which will cover instruction\, classroom rent\, insurance\, art supplies\, and snacks. Students need to be at the Art Camp classroom at 8:00 am and we will adjourn at 12:00 noon. Parents or friends will need to transport students each day. Parents are always welcome to the Camp sessions and if the students want to bring art materials from home they may.\n\n\n\nThis camp will feature creative writing\, from poetry to prose. A reading of student work will be held on Saturday\, June 23.
