Butter Bean Festival

Butter Bean Festival.  
The event kicks off with social mingling and hors d'oeuvres, followed by a huge dinner spread of food prepared by club members showcasing fresh pickings from their gardens.  In addition to several hot pots of butter beans, event goers can count on fresh sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, potato salad and other garden offerings.  There is usually plenty of ham and fried chicken too, plus deviled eggs and an array of homemade desserts.
