Charles Dickens Christmas Festival
The Charles Dickens Christmas Festival will promote arts and culture; attract customers to local businesses and arts venues; and create community goodwill. A variety of events will be held in the two days, including: a kick-off parade, a Christmas tree lighting, band and choir concerts, costume contests, literary readings, performances by local acting troupes, and much more. Merchants in Southport will be decorating their shops and dressing in period style.
