Community Health Screenings

Each month the Chamber highlights exciting and informative events, ranging from business mixers to ribbon cuttings; and while all of these events are important, nothing is as important as taking care of our health.

That is why we wanted to announce that Life Line Screening will be performing a day of preventive health screenings at Highest Praise Worship Center on Tuesday, July 9, 2013.  This collaboration helps bring important health tests to our community at an affordable price.   The tests look for signs of disease that can lead to stroke, heart attack or bone fracture.

Life Line Screening scans for potential health problems related to: blocked arteries, which is a leading cause of stroke; abdominal aortic aneurysms, which can lead to a ruptured aorta, the 13th leading cause of death in America; hardening of the arteries in the legs, which is a strong predictor of heart disease; and a bone density screening, for men and women, used to assess the risk of osteoporosis.
