Guest presenter Dean Gomersall is Animal Care Supervisor and Facility Manager at the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach, CA. His program at the Museum of Coastal Carolina will include his work with marine mammal rescue, rehabilitation, and release. Thousands of marine mammals get stranded on our shores every year. Humans play a huge role in this issue. Dean will discuss how things we do in everyday life impact marine mammals and what we can do to ensure the survival of these animals.
