Natural Wonders of Brunswick County through a Lens

This course is designed to introduce students to digital media to record the natural habitats for a variety of animal and plant species in Southeastern, North Carolina. Discover the variety of carnivorous plants native to this area, the impact of the American alligator, the Long Leaf Pine Historical significance, the Bobcat habitat, Black Bear population, and Osprey sites. Challenges and opportunities for preservation and interpretation for the agencies that manage them. This program qualifies for the NC Environmental Educator Criteria II. This class counts towards the Nature Guide Certificate Pathway.
