The Brunswick Community College (BCC) Foundation Board is cooking up a fun way to raise money for student scholarships. At noon on Saturday, October 15, the Food Network star and celebrated author Paula Deen, will attend an intimate VIP light luncheon. Afterward, (1 to 2 p.m.) three award-winning chefs-- Eric Masson, Executive chef of The Brentwood in Horry County, Executive chef Jonathan Yuricek of Twin Lakes Seafood of Brunswick County and Executive chef Matt Kahrs of Port City Chop House in New Hanover County-- will each prepare their signature dish while Paula entertains the crowd. Later, Deen will judge each dish and select a winner among the three.
The VIP Meet, Greet and Eat ticket ($500) includes: VIP luncheon, two autographed Paula Deen’s Southern Cooking BIBLE and VIP seating for the event and will be limited to an intimate setting of just 60 guests. The Premier ticket ($150) includes: one autographed Paula Deen’s Southern Cooking BIBLE and premium seating for the event, and is limited to 120 tickets.
