Star Party
Begin with a Sky Theater show, "Two Pieces of Glass" to discover the history of the telescope, how one works, where shooting stars come from, and participate with local astronomy clubs in an outdoor telescope viewing. Also learn about the Leonids meteor shower that peaks on Nov 17-18. Telescope contest winner will be announced.
