Walk for Those Who Can't
The 5th Annual Walk for Those Who Can't is the major fundraising event for Carolina Canines for Service. CCFS is located in Wilmington and provides service dogs to wounded warriors and non-military disabled people from Virginia to Florida. People with mobility disabilities receive service dogs from CCFS at no cost to them. Volunteers who raise and train the dogs for service include Dr. Greg Rupp, DDS (chamber member). The venue is a 1.55 mile walk around Hugh MacRae Park in Wilmington. Walk as an individual or start/join a team. Bring your dog if you want and join the crowd for a walk in the park.
