Experience Welder
Carolinas Staffing is looking for an Experience Welder in Wilmington, NC!
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and CAD models to understand project requirements and dimensions
- Set up and prepare metal components for welding
- Measure and align parts using calipers, rulers, and other measuring tools to ensure precision
- Select and operate appropriate welding equipment (manual, semi-automatic, or automated) in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead)
- Weld components using techniques such as SMAW (stick), MIG, or TIG
- Inspect and test welds for quality, structural integrity, and compliance with safety and design specifications
- Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Report defects, safety hazards, or process improvements to supervisors
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay: $20 plus depending on experience
