Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Lead Mitigation Tech located in Wilmington, NC. As a Lead Mitigation Tech, your day-to-day tasks will involve responding to emergency calls, assessing property damage, coordinating and leading a mitigation team, executing restoration plans, ensuring quality control, documenting work progress, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in water mitigation, fire and smoke restoration, mold and biohazard remediation, or related fields
- Knowledge of mitigation techniques, equipment, and industry best practices
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate and guide a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in demanding and hazardous environments
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills and instruct others on how to proceed
- Proficiency in documenting work progress and maintaining accurate records
- Relevant certifications, such as IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT), or Mold Remediation Technician (AMRT) are a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
