SHALLOTTE MULTICULTURAL HOLIDAY FESTIVAL

We are delighted to announce that  the  7th Annual Shallotte  Multicultural Holiday   
Festival will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 12:00 Noon - 4:00 p.m. This
FREE family -friendly festival will be held at the  grounds of the Eastgate Plaza, 150
Holden Beach Rd. Shallotte,  NC.
            
              With the success of the previous  festivals,  this year's festival will include a multitude
 of new activities such as arts & crafts and business vendors, ethnic food sampling and
 performances and a wide range of children's activities. We look forward  to a family-
             friendly  event that will bring  people together for the kick-off of the holiday season
 
The Shallotte  Multicultural Holiday Festival activities will focus on traditions and the
spirit of the holidays. the event will enable us to:

• Promote cultural awareness and understanding within the Town of Shallotte.
• Provide a family-friendly environment for the kick-off to the  holidays
• Raise awareness of the arts and cultures
• Establish new partnerships between the  Shallotte Multicultural Holiday Festival planning committee, the Town of Shallotte, businesses, non-profits and churches
• Generate  additional revenues for the City of Shallotte

• A Multicultural Stage  showcasing   some of the "best-of the-best  ethnic performers such as the  Ballet Folklorico Guadalupano and cloggers, gospel singers and other  holiday performers.
• The festival will also feature  arts and crafts,  businesses and community resources vendors.

• The   children's programs will include a Bounce Castle, Safari Club,   face painting,   camel rides,  Home depot  games and a visit with Santa Claus.
• Festival-goers will also have the  opportunity to visit the  Food Sampling  Court for  FREE sampling  of the  best ethnic cuisine from  our regional restaurants.
